The History

From 1809 to 1816 Borgarello was united in San Genesio. In 1816 the Austrian government replaced the Mayor with the Municipal Agent, until the unification of Italy in 1860. At that time there were 686 inhabitants in Borgarello, of which only thirty voting. The school was assured only until the third grade. After the inauguration of the new school building, in 1930, he was guaranteed education up to the fourth grade. Two teachers, Luigia De Donigi and Ida Rancati, retained the post for many years.
